My own story, which is shared in my first book, Our Bodies: The Optimal Design, is why I am so passionate about educating people and helping them take back their power and choices for healthy living.
In my first career I was blessed to be a speaker and trainer speaking around the country for over 10 years on a variety of “hard” and “soft” skills. My second career took me into the middle school classroom where I learned the mystery of patterns in math, in health, in life, and the gift of inspiring and motivating people. Throughout it all, my interest in natural health continued to grow—first experiencing a three-year journey with Epstein-Barr Virus (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), later in life a diagnosis with breast cancer, followed by a version of Guillain–Barré syndrome (GBS) called Miller Fisher Syndrome, and a fall resulting in breaking my back in several places. Each time keeping a positive, optimistic attitude and applying both traditional western approaches, and natural, complementary, alternative more eastern approaches.
It is my desire, and life passion, to help bridge the understanding between the two and share how your body holds mysteries that give each of us many answers we may have yet to discover. These answers help in your health, and in the health of your relationships and organizations.
I have been blessed to help others share their stories as a book coach bridging from conception to published work, capture better understanding as a math tutor from elementary through college and professional math bridging understanding from what is known to new connections and understanding, and teach and inspire others as a speaker, trainer, and coach in business and in health.
I love learning from people, traveling, the beach, nature, connecting people and ideas, and relaxing with friends and family. I look forward to sharing what I have learned and providing tools you may not have realized you had.
